Technical Information

Format and Compatibility

Sample Format:

  • All samples are recorded in 24bit, 48 kHz or 96kHz, stereo or mono.

    •  

    Instrument Format:

  • Full Version of Kontakt is required.

  • All instruments are in .nki format for Native Instruments Kontakt, requiring a
    Full Version of Kontakt.

  • Please check each instrument for particular compatibility with a version of Kontakt.

    Update March 2024 - the latest release Windpipes requires the Full Version of Kontakt v6.7.1 or above.

     

    Quality:

  • We endeavor to keep the size of our libraries as small as possible for best performance and CPU usage. In saying that we also want to create the best sounding and most usable instruments we are capable of.

  • A few of our patches can be quite large as some of our samples are over a minute long and we try to give as many velocity levels and round robins as we think each instrument requires.

    • Delivery is by Download only

    System Requirements

    Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 (latest Service Pack, 32/64-bit), Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2

    Mac OS X 10.9 to 10.14 (latest update) and probably 10.15, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM

    4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended for large KONTAKT Instruments)
